The Strasbourg School of Engineering in Biotechnology is a state-funded School within the University of Strasbourg. French, German and Swiss students follow a 3-year Engineering course in  Biotechnology after obtaining a Bac+2 qualification (2 years of higher education).  A Word from the Director

ESBS proudly asserts its position in the centre of Europe, as the University of Strasbourg’s Graduate School of Engineering, in partnership with the Universities of Basel and Freiburg.

The school is accredited by the CTI (Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur [French Commission for Granting Engineer Status]) and is a member of Alsace-Tech, the Alsace Association of Graduate Schools of Engineering.

Ideally situated in the heart of the Upper Rhine Biovalley, ESBS  teaching is mainly delivered in English, across the three partner university sites, within a scientific and manufacturing centre of excellence. Designed to meet the needs of employers in the Biotech sector, ESBS brings together a team of teaching staff that is available to students and committed to preparing them for their subsequent careers.
