 ESBS Alumni | AAE

The Alumni Association of the ESBS (AAE) organizes and supports events that strengthen the ESBS Alumni Network.

With an expanding network of over 1000 members, the AAE offers a very active job/internship opportunity portal, helping current and former students throughout their careers. The AAE also organizes networking events bringing all members of the ESBS family together.
The highlights of these efforts are the Alumni Days which have been taking place every other year since 2005. These events offer a wide variety of career-related talks and workshops, as well as room to exchange ideas, opinions and knowledge, to refresh old friendships – and make new ones.
The ESBS Alumni Association also takes at heart to put its resources at the service of current students. This is why we are constantly encouraging the Alumni to share their knowledge by giving seminars, participating in the mentoring program or offering CV / cover letter workshops.

 ESBS Amicale Student Association

The Student Association is operated by the students and has been known by many different names over the years, including “Amicale”, “Amicaline”, “Amicaliente”, “Amicalchimie” and “Amicartel”. Its role is to promote, organise and fund events for students.

Throughout the year, the Amicale runs the student forum, which organises sports and social activities and one-off events, as well as the infamous Freshers’ Weekend (WEI: week-end d’intégration).

You’ll find the Amicale at the “Fouaille”. This is the social space where all their events are organised. To some extent, the Association also has a role to play in promoting the school, as well as welcoming and providing advice to interviewees. Along with student representatives, it also facilitates communication between students and administrative and teaching personnel.

ISF has demonstrated its commitment to creating a better world here in Strasbourg and abroad, through its many projects: organising film screenings for the AlimenTerre festival; DIY workshops for making your own household goods; photography competitions to fight against sexism; food bank collections, and even setting up international solidarity projects.

Nouvelle Génération des Biotechnologistes | NGB

The Nouvelle Génération des Biotechnologistes Association was created in 2009 by ESBS students who wanted to build a network of young biotech scientists. Their objective is also to create links between students and businesses to facilitate entry into the workplace. To this end, the association organises various events, including lectures, panel discussions, visits to local businesses, etc. The NGB is also active at a European level as part of the YEBN (Young European Biotech Network) which brings together similar associations across Europe.
