Diplôme d’ingénieur spécialité chimie-biotechnologies (Chembiotech)Parcours Diplôme d'ingénieur spécialité chimie-biotechnologies (Chembiotech)
Description
Objectives in terms of knowledge (course content ):
Acquisition of knowledge on principal cellular processes, and associated experimental methods, required for the use of mammalian cells as tools for therapeutic targets identification and validation.
• Cellular processes will include major cell functions such as glycoprotein biosynthesis and intracellular traffic, cell morphogenesis, cell division, cell migration/invasion, and associated signaling pathways. Group work will allow to explore further different aspects of cell functioning, and identify Biotech Companies that are using the knowledge on these cellular processes for developing applications in the field of innovative therapies.
• Cell imaging approaches used to study these cellular processes: Principle, applications and limits of principal types of photonic microscopy: Phase contrast, DIC, dark field, fluorescent probes, living cell imaging, confocal microscopies, TIRF, FRET, FRAP, FLIM, 3D microscopy, high throughput imaging, super resolution, FALI, Optogenetics, and link with electron microscopy.
