Description du contenu de l'enseignement

Objectives in terms of knowledge (course content) :

Acquisition, in the context of practical work in Cellular Biology and associated preparatory courses, the necessary knowledge for:
  • Culture of continuous lines: morphology, viability, growth, maintenance, conservation. Transient expression of recombinant protein after transfection, concept of transformation, use of siRNA.
  • Preparation of extracts and immunochemical characterization: flow cytometry, immunoblot. Use of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
  • In vitro healing test, analysis of cell migration and its consequences on the organization of the cytoskeleton. Immunofluorescence labeling. Epifluorescence microscopy analysis of cell polarization and introduction to signaling pathways and small G proteins involved in migration.

  • Understand and master the techniques developed during the course
  • To be able to interpret experimental results
  • Know how to report the results
  • Have a critical analysis of the results and be able to propose experimental evolutions
